The National Scout Jamboree was held on July 26th through August 4, 2010 at Fort A.P. Hill, near Bowling Green, Virginia.  There were over 45,000 Scouts, and leaders from all 50 states represented, and foreign countries in attendance at the jamboree.

The 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Boy Scout organization was recognized at this special jamboree.  The theme of the jamboree:  100 Years of Scouting, Celebrating the Adventure, Continuing the Journey.

Ten Boy Scouts from our Troop-399 attended the National Jamboree.  The scouts included:  Ray G., Sunit K., Patrick N., Jackson S., Riley G., Robert G., Peter H., Kevin J., Kevin M., and Jason B.
